JOB Posting:  Research Assistant (Part Time – Fluent in any Asian Language (esp. Chinese, Japanese, or Vietnamese)

What You Will Do:

This role offers the right candidate the opportunity to acquire the required skills to build, develop and grow a successful career in the field of business research as they work along with and learn from an enthusiastic and experienced team of researchers. Here’s what you’d be doing:

• Collect: Conduct secondary research on various industries, companies, and other topics to understand the industry dynamics, market size, trends & forecasts
• Analyze: Draw meaningful insights from the data collected using various methodologies
• Present: Organize the insights drawn and present them as impactful PowerPoint, Word or Excel reports
• Types of research may include but not limited to financial analysis, competitive benchmarking, company analysis, surveys etc.

What You Have:

• Student in any Korean University with a strong academic record. 
• Native speaker of Chinese, Japanese or Vietnamese (or any other Asian language) with working-level proficiency in English
• Good written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Intellectual curiosity and desire to learn and grow
• Analytical and logical reasoning ability and comfortable working with numbers
• Proficiency in working with Microsoft Office tools
• Effective time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work both individually and as part of a team

Good to Have (but not required):

• Prior experience in business research or translation
• Academic background in business, economics or finance or language/translation related fields
